    WHAT YOU DO MATTERS

Homework help will be beginning Sept. 2nd!

Stanley's Odyssey of the Mind team won the regional competition this spring and attended the World Finals competition at Michigan State at the end of May.  Team members applied their creativity to solve problems that ranged from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.  The problem our students worked on was "Leonardo's Workshop", and the highlights of their experience included representing Northern CA in the parade, getting to know their Japanese buddy team, and living in the dorms at the university.  Team members were Anna Stubbington, Momo Sonada, Ben Brekke, Olivia Hoppe, Evan Sverak, Riley Walter, Michael Solomon, and parent coaches Maura Nicolini (Sverak) and Amanda Walter.  Congratulations team!!!

This is a drop‐in program, but we will ask students to sign‐in and sign-out upon departure. If a student finishes before the end of the hour, they are permitted to sign-out. Students are asked to use the restroom and have a snack before entering the Homework Help room. Please encourage your students to take advantage of this valuable opportunity!
