Random Acts of Fitness

 

 

1. Lying flat on your back with your arms at your sides, lift your legs straight in the air 10 times.  Don't bend your knees! This is a great way to work your ab muscles.

 

2.  Next time you eat a sandwich, throw some lettuce or tomatoes on your sandwich to count as a serving of veggies.

     

3.  Have someone time you as you run around your house five time! Now do it again and try and beat your time.

 

4.  Have someone time you to see how quickly you can do 30 jumping jacks! Now do it again and try and beat your time.

 

5. Do 10 air squats very slowly. Try to do 15 another day.  Can you feel the burn in your leg muscles?
