About me: My life revolves around world languages and cultures! I have lived and taught extensively in Germany, France, and Korea and, since 1991 at Stanley Middle School. I have visited 50 countries and I traveled around the world for one year. I have a B.A. from Université de Nantes in France, an M.A. from Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf in Germany, and a Professional Clear Credential K-12 from San Francisco State University. I was trained in Communication Based Instruction (CBI) at Stanford University and I studied Spanish at UC Berkeley Extension. Since 1990, I have been working as the academic consultant for the German School of San Francisco, too. Besides teaching, my greatest joy in life is my son who was born in 2004. And we still love to travel :)
I speak German, English, French and Spanish. I can read and write some Korean and a bit of Mandarin. I have also been hosting the Bollywood Club at Stanley for the last 15 years.
